PROPOSE A WORKSHOP
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Global Education Forum. Presenters may opt to share their expertise in two different formats – an interactive workshop (75 minutes) or a Teacher Swap Shop session (25 minute session, offered twice). Please complete the entire request for proposal form below for consideration. You may submit more than one proposal, but the reviewing committee will attempt to accept as many different presenters and topics as possible.

SPOTLIGHT ON HIGH LEVERAGE LEADERSHIP PRACTICES FROM SCHOOLS, DISTRICTS, STATE AND NATIONAL LEADERSHIP INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS:
These sessions should focus on leadership development and support efforts. Sessions that focus on leadership development programs or how leadership at various levels has supported global learning are preferred. Sessions that highlight how leaders can learn with and from colleagues from other countries are also desired.
Developing Teachers’ Global Competence
SPOTLIGHT ON IMPACTFUL TEACHER PREPARATION PROGRAMS OR ONGOING TEACHER PD PROGRAMS:
These sessions should highlight innovative global programs that support the development of pre-service and experienced educators. Sessions that include a global aspect or specific focus on developing teachers’ global competence will be preferred
Best Practices in Global Education (Pedagogy)
SPOTLIGHT ON CLASSROOM/SCHOOL-BASED STRATEGIES TO ENGAGE STUDENTS WITH THE WORLD:
These sessions should highlight school, district or state level initiatives focusing on globally focused curriculum, instruction and assessment. Proposals that focus on focus on language learning/development or the utilization of technology to foster global learning will receive special consideration
Globally Significant Issues
Spotlight on global issues that impact our World:
These sessions should focus on relevant information or resources pertaining to one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
